About Me
I am a mom of four children, three grown and one in high school. I am also “Nana” to five beautiful granddaughters and one grandson. Indeed, I am truly blessed! I am extremely fortunate to have a wonderful husband who supports me in all my projects and pursuits. He tolerates my numerous works-in-progress that are scattered throughout the house and often occupy most of the garage.
Though my educational background is in accounting and business management, I have had a passion for creating ever since I can remember. I began working in fine art, then later moved on to mostly sewing and knitting while my children were little. During the last ten years, my passion has evolved into rescuing pieces of the past and repurposing/recreating them into something fresh & new. Long before the big "repurposing" trend became popular, I was frequenting thrift stores and yard sales for items that others often thought of as junk.
I am so excited and blessed to have turned my passion into a business! Please take a moment to check out my creations. Each item is hand-crafted by me; therefore, each one is a little different. Some items may even be one-of-a-kind, due to availability of the materials I use. My inventory varies so you may want to check back now and then for new or seasonal items. I hope to occasionally share some of my projects and yard sale adventures in my blog, and maybe you'll even be inspired to tackle some projects of your own. Thank you for visiting, and come back again to browse through some junky treasures!
